Comment on MICHAEL & THE FIREBIRDS, Lass Sie geh´n ( She´s Not There), 1965 by Franz Schmidt

Hello there, it should be corrected: Los Bravos were not searching a singer, it was the producent who brings them together. And the song “Black is Black” isn’t a song from Michael Kogler. The Song “Black is Black” is written by an english songwriter and was bought by the producent of Michael while searching a song to produce in Great Britain.
The song “Lass sie geh’n” was played by the firebirds (Michaels band in Cologne), conducted by Bora Rockovich, pianist of the Edelhagen Orchestra. The piano-part from Bora was a great idea from himselve and “arg schräg”. The song was recorded with 2 drummers in parallel: Dieter Geis “Büggel” and the drummer of the Edelhagen orchestra.
