Hi. Two FYI things: (1) Cumbia records usually originate from Colombia. It was first brought to Argentina by Los Wawanco, and Argentinians modified cumbia steps to do a dance they called La Pollera Verde. (2) The American who founded Europa-Gold Award Records is the same guy who invented the 101 Strings in the US (he later relocated to Europe). An interesting one-page background summary on him is here: http://spaceagepop.com/millerdl.htm — and one question: Have you seen The Montesas LP (Koln, Germany) “Rockers…Shakers” (2006)? It opens up to a game board. All their LPs have coordinated elements (covers, labels, concept) — they definitely work with an artist. The artwork on two of their LPs that I’ve seen have been very whimsical. The art concept of that particular 2006 LP looks like something you’d enjoy seeing (but I don’t have a link). You can see their 2009 art concept here: http://mreliminator.blogspot.com/search/label/THE%20MONTESAS
